complicated or difficult to maintain.
- Upon initial exposure a student may exclaim ” oh my, this is going to take some time “. In
reality the maintenance, setup, breakdown and cleaning requires approximately the same
amount of time as open circuit.
- Many of the pre-dive checks and maintenance requirements are the same as for OC.

- Fill cylinders, analyze gas contents and mark contents.
Check all hoses for wear and damage
Check lp inflater and deflater functions

- Rinse / clean counter lungs and breathing hose, hang to dry
