The Cave Diver Program introduces the diver to dives involving; line gaps, jumps, circuits and traverses. Builds proficiency using multiple reels, including; primary, safety, and gap reels, jumping procedures, visual gaps and jumps, reverse jumping procedures, simple and complex traverse procedures, simple and complex circuits, trim and equipment streamlining, line protocol and awareness, complex dive planning and execution.Dives will require the student to perform various bailouts and exits w/o light, sharing gas and navigating by touch contact through complex navigation.Qualifies Dive to: make more complex cave dives in double cylinder configuration

complete minimum 12 cave dives (w / o intro)complete minimum 480 minutes bottom timepass written exam w/ 80% or better*demonstrate to instructor’s satisfaction that the student is a safe cave diver.
The following equipment is required for each student:1. Dual cylinders, volume appropriate for planned dive, student gas consumption.2. Two independent first and second stage regulators. One regulator equipped with a long hose at a recommended minimum length of seven (7) feet.3. Submersible pressure gauge.4. Buoyancy Compensator with power inflator.5. Exposure suit adequate for diving environment.6. Mask and fins – NO snorkel.7. Two (2) line cutting devices.8. Three (3) battery powered lights -one (1) primary and two (2) back-ups, each with a with burn time suitable for the planned dive time.9. Safety reel with a minimum of thirty seven (37) meters / one hundred twenty five (125) feet of guideline.10. One (1) primary cave-diving reel with length appropriate for intended dive.11. Computer or watch (bottom timer) and depth gauge.12. Slate or wet notes with a pencil.13. Submersible dive tables or back up dive computer.14. Three (3) directional line arrows.15. One (1) non- directional line marker.16. Two Gap reels with fifty (50) feet of guideline.17. Any planned decompression requires staged cylinders containing gas the student is qualified to use.

We only complete initial training in the US where high, as well as low flow, systems are available.We believe it is highly unfair to the student to do so in other areas, no matter how beautiful, with low flow only.Neither do we “farm out” our students to help pay for an out of country trip.Your choice; do you want a pretty dive, or a well rounded & complete training in a broad array of cave systems
